Catching up

I mentioned in my last post that I’ve finally been getting on to doing some scrapbooking again. Yay! It’s been a while. Check out some of the images I created from Jessica Sprague’s Photo Special Effects and Frame Ups class:

I love the Run Jump Play photo – I still can’t believe how Rob caught Kyle in mid-air! Fantastic. And the text and texture effects just make the photo.

I also did the Extraction Mega Lesson, and here’s the final layout. It’s amazing. Christmas 2008 I was pregnant with Matthew, so our family was “Almost Perfect” – one sweet boy and another on the way. I’m so glad I have two boys.

It was a long lesson – 11 different tasks, but I think it was totally worth it. It took me two days of working on the layout around feedings, taking care of my boys, dishes and cleaning and laundry. You forget how much laundry you have to do with a baby around, not just baby laundry but yours too from getting spat up on all the time. ;-P. Case in point – I had three loads of laundry to fold yesterday morning and at least one more to do today.

Kyle stars preschool today. I’m so excited for him and yet I am still stunned that he’s old enough to be in preschool. How time flies – don’t you think it goes faster the older you get?
