birthday weekend…

So Saturday was World Cardmaking Day and a lot of sites participated and had prizes and such. It also happened to be my birthday and I got a few new scrapbooking goodies too! I tried really hard to make a card but I just didn’t have the time Between going shopping, getting ready for a dinner (an umpire’s banquet), and then going to a movie, I just wasn’t able to pull anything together. Sunday was a day for sleeping and cleaning. Rob and I have been running three days a week, and Saturday was supposed to be our run day, but it was so busy we decided to do it Sunday instead. It feels good to be running again.

Today I’m just plain old tired. Matthew’s had a bit of a cold and hasn’t slept well the last few days. Today he was awake sometime shortly after 7. I tried to wait it out to see if he would go back to sleep but 20 minutes later he showed no sign of going back to sleep, so I got up. Tonight I work from 7 to midnight and then Kyle has swimming at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow, so I’m going to be paying for it tomorrow afternoon for sure! Oh well. He’s a good sleeper most of the time, so I try not to complain too much ;D

I’ve been making a few cards and some really cool new flowers but I haven’t had a chance to photograph them yet. Hopefully this evening while I’m working, if I get a chance, otherwise tomorrow and I’ll get them up for my usual Thursday post.
