A simple fall card…
I love the Imaginisce Apple Cider line right now – so beautiful! The woodgrain is what I bought it for, but the rest of the papers in the 6×6 pad are just gorgeous ;D You might remember the card I showed the other day with my new flowers that I’ve been making:
Beautiful colors, right? I thought I would play around with some other papers and I made a simple fall card. I’ve been really into circles and flowers lately, I am not sure why. Anyway this is what I came up with.
I saw the back side of this paper and wanted to make a tree with it, of course. So I cut a bunch of circles and made it into the tree. Then I hand cut a trunk and applied it over two other papers for a simple quick fall card. I heat embossed hello fall with my American Crafts alpha stamps and AC Zing copper embossing powder.
This weekend was Thanksgiving in Canada, so (like every year) we were in Kamloops. We went to a bowling alley for our niece’s birthday party (which was a blast except of course for the fact that even Kyle beat my score – my game just isn’t what it used to be ;D ), then we had turkey dinner Sunday night and we’ll be home Monday afternoon. These visits always seem to go by so quickly now. Anyway, back to routine…
