Bonus card today…

I thought I would post a bonus card as a card I made matches the 2S4Y sketch this week.

All papers are Basic Grey, as well as the bling. The hello friend stamp is Stampendous and the branch/leaves is from the Pyrus bitsy stamps from Basic Grey. The ribbon is unknown from my stash, and the linen bracket is from my old cross stitching days. I used an EK Success border punch on the green paper and one of my spellbinders dies for the linen. I used some Ancient Page chocolate ink for the edges and some twine I got at Walmart to string through the hello tag, which is also pop dotted. I really love this card, I think it’s elegant and I love the layering I achieved on it.

Sorry for the horrible photo. I’m looking into getting a light studio for my den. We have such horrible lighting in our house, even though we have gigantic windows. First of all, we live near Vancouver. At this time of year it’s pretty gray most of the time, or full on raining, so that just kills the lighting for sure. Secondly, all our windows are north facing pretty much (except for 2, and the ones that are south facing look directly at the house next door), so, we don’t get much direct light at all… And add to that the fact that I take most of my photos late at night, not a good combination! So, hopefully my photos will have better colour and lighting soon…
