Busy, busy…

I’ve been busy working on Christmas cards and Christmas projects, all things I can’t share yet. Doh! I am also trying to get my advent calendar done. I chose this one which was at my local scrapbooking store. I also have a birthday card to make for tomorrow so, I’ll share that as soon as it’s done. Too many projects!! But I don’t have many shifts this week so I hope to get a bunch of stuff done. I am also going to a fundraiser shopping trip tomorrow evening which should be a lot of fun. It’s a great idea – we bought tickets for an exclusive evening of shopping at a local mall with special sales and door prizes and food tastings. It should be a lot of fun for my mom and I, and a good night for hubby to spend alone with the kids.

AND this weekend I am getting up extra early Saturday morning to stand in line to get my ticket for the Photo Express Crop which will be held in February next year!!! I can’t wait (and it’s a pajama party – the crop that is, not standing in line ;D). I’ll be going through my photos and planning layouts over the next two months, so I think I’ll do a series of posts on how I plan my layouts, kitting them, and then packing for a crop.

I have so many things going through my mind I really must start writing them down and/or creating sketches for my cards/layouts/mini albums. After all the holiday crafting is done I think I have to work on a sketchbook ;D I recently watched a video Kristina Werner created a while ago showing how she created a sketchbook here. And if you haven’t been watching her 25 days of Christmas card series (which I believe is on card 17 tomorrow), you have to see what she’s been doing. This week she’s using Basic Grey’s Jovial and I can’t wait to see what she does for the rest of the week. I love this line but (again) it’s so bold I’m struggling with it a bit. I have to think outside my box which is what I was hoping for when I bought it! I’m definitely hoping for some inspiration watching her videos this week…

Anyway, I should have a proper post for Thursday and some Christmas card inspiration of my own to share in the coming weeks.
