On the move…

Another layout from the crop last month. I love this series of photos from just around Matthew’s first birthday when we were camping in Victoria. It was the first time he stood up all on his own. Of course, just after that he fell and smacked his nose and cried a lot! But I wanted to focus on the accomplishment not the failure, so I used the photos in order and highlighted the moment he stood without holding on. ;D

I used the TPC Studios line Transportation. The blue/green paper at the bottom is a die cut sheet and I traced the pattern onto the solid green paper with the words “On the move…” on it. I hand cut the scalloped sky from one of the strips on one of the papers. It is one strip with two scalloped layers on it, so I cut both and layered them one on top of the other for more dimension and added a striped strip under it. I then used some of the coordinating ribbon and some Dear Lizzy + AC thickers and my AC Precision Pen to do some hand journaling and that was it.

I also wanted to quickly share pictures of the two classes scheduled for April at Precious Memories. The first is a layout class with three single-page layouts, and the second is a card class featuring handmade flowers.
